Who We Are
GROW Christian Church
GROW Christian Church is a Baptist Christian community meeting in Aberfoyle Park, in Adelaide's southern suburbs. Our name reflects what we're about — Grace, Restoration, Outreach, and Worship — the four pillars that shape our life together as a church family.
We are a warm, welcoming, and multicultural congregation made up of families, young people, and people from all walks of life who love Jesus and love one another. We gather each Sunday at the Aberfoyle Park Community Centre to worship, learn from God's Word, and encourage one another in faith.

Where We've Come From, Where We're Growing

2017
A GROW Group begins
A handful of Filipino families started gathering fortnightly for Bible study as a "GROW Group" — reflecting our desire to grow in faith and grow God's Kingdom.

The years that followed
Becoming family
We shared prayer, meals, celebrations, and even a few camps together.

A calling
Starting a church of our own
Through much prayer, we sensed God calling us to start a church — a place we could invite our friends and wider community, while remaining a welcoming home for people of every culture.

Our Mission
Why We Exist
To help people know Jesus Christ and grow in faith, in community, and in service — sharing His love with Aberfoyle Park and beyond.
Grace
We rest in God's unearned love, extending the same grace we've received to everyone we meet.
Restoration
We believe in healing and wholeness — for individuals, families, and our community — through Christ.
Outreach
We're committed to serving and sharing the gospel with our neighbours in Aberfoyle Park and beyond.
Worship
We gather to honour God together, offering our lives and voices in heartfelt worship each Sunday.
What We Believe
Our Baptist Christian Beliefs
As a Baptist church, we hold to the historic, biblical truths of the Christian faith.
The Bible
We believe the Bible is God's inspired and trustworthy Word, our final authority for faith and life.
Salvation by Grace
We believe salvation is a free gift, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
Believer's Baptism
Following the example of the New Testament, we practise baptism by immersion for those who profess faith in Christ.
The Local Church
We believe the church is a community of believers gathered to worship, disciple, and serve together.
The Great Commission
We are called to share the good news of Jesus and make disciples in our community and around the world.
The Trinity
We believe in one God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — three persons, united in perfect love.
